Our mutes are made of a soft plastic material that provides excellent grip while inserted between strings. Unlike rubber, these mutes don’t dry out or harden, ensuring they maintain a snug grip throughout their life. Like with other mutes they can collect rust or corrosion from aging strings. Simply wash them with soapy water and they will regain their original grip. With seven different shapes they offer a variety of options for either grands or verticals.
